Delta Module 2
The Delta Module 2 is the second module of the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) course offered by the University of Cambridge. It is designed for experienced English language teachers who wish to further develop their practical teaching skills and knowledge. The Delta Module 2 consists of an extended period of supervised teaching practice, where trainees are required to plan, deliver, and evaluate English language lessons to adult learners. The program focuses on developing trainees' practical teaching skills and their ability to critically reflect on their teaching practice. In addition to the teaching practice component, the Delta Module 2 also includes a series of written assignments. These assignments require trainees to critically reflect on their teaching practice, demonstrate their understanding of English language teaching theory and principles, and analyze the effectiveness of their teaching practice. The Delta Module 2 is typically a flexible program that can be completed through face-to-face instruction, blended learning, or online learning. It is usually completed over a period of 6-12 months.
