Hi, I’m Kelly, an ELT professional with over 13 years of experience spanning the military, corporate, and educational sectors. 

Originally from the United States, my journey began with a career in the military, where I developed leadership and organizational skills. Later, I transitioned into the corporate world, but it was when I moved to Brazil that I found my true passion for education. This shift led me to a fulfilling career supporting language learners and fellow educators. 

My focus has been on teacher training and educational consultancy, areas I’ve developed through a range of international certifications and diplomas. Currently, I serve as the Pedagogical Coordinator for GT English, where I help both teachers and institutions optimize their services and deliver high-quality educational experiences. I’m passionate about offering training that builds technical skills and promotes career growth for educators. 

Drawing from my military and corporate background, I bring a unique perspective to my consultancy work. Structure, goal-setting, and adaptability are at the core of my training methods, whether I’m working with individual teachers or institutions. I’m also a Cambridge CELTA tutor and provide freelance training services, which allow me to stay hands-on in the development of educators. 

Outside of my training work, I’m an avid podcaster and content creator, always eager to share insights with language educators. My podcast and online repository offer peer-reviewed articles, resources, and lesson plans aimed at fostering continuous professional development. I’m committed to advancing the ELT industry by attending conferences, leading workshops, and staying at the forefront of educational trends to improve learning experiences globally.
